Privacy notice

This notice explains how VEKORUM Group Inc., operating under the trade name VEKORUM, collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information submitted through this website.

Accountability

VEKORUM Group Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control. The Privacy Officer can be contacted at info@vekorum.com.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we may collect your name, work email address, organisation, and the information included in your enquiry. Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, financial, health, or government-identification information through the website form.

How we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your requirements, assess how we may assist, maintain appropriate business records, prevent misuse, and protect the security of our services. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry information for unrelated advertising.

Consent and lawful processing

We process personal information with consent, where necessary to respond to a request or take steps toward an engagement, to pursue reasonable business interests, or to comply with legal obligations. Consent may be withdrawn, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

Service providers and international processing

Contact-form submissions are processed and stored through Netlify, our website hosting and form-processing provider. We may also use professional, technology, security, and communications providers that require limited access to information to perform services for us. Personal information may therefore be processed outside your province or country and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement authorities, or regulators in those jurisdictions. We use contractual, organisational, and legal safeguards where required.

Retention

Website enquiries are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. Information may be retained longer where an engagement begins, a legal or professional obligation applies, a dispute must be addressed, or a longer period is reasonably required for security and business records. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

Security and incidents

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Where required by applicable law, affected individuals and regulators will be notified of a qualifying privacy breach.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask how it has been used or disclosed, withdraw consent, or request deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

This business-to-business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children through it.

Questions and complaints

Contact the Privacy Officer first at info@vekorum.com. You may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, where applicable, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal obligations. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required.
